VS8420E HONEYWELL GAS CONTROL VALVE

The Honeywell VS8420E Gas control valve has been discontinued as a service replacement part from Honeywell but can be replaced by a certified HVAC contractor with the following kits.

These kits are a general replacement kit with bracket and igniter and come with various components to allow for the replacement of the Honeywell VS8420E gas valve.

These VS8420E Replacement Kits are designed to only work with the Honeywell VS8420 series gas valve that has the Inlet and Outlet ports on opposing sides of the Gas Valve and will not work on any VS8420 Series gas valves with the inlet and outlet ports on the bottom of the gas valves.

The correct kit must be order for the specific gas type that is being replace with the correct pilot depending on the configuration of your pilot mounting bracket.

If you are replacing the VS8420E Honeywell Gas Valve is a Lennox IHP Fireplace we recommend the specific Gas Train associated with the model of your complete direct vent fireplace.

If your current VS8420E gas valve is equipped with a interrupter circuit you will need the 0.270.457 thermocouple.
